Description:
MTR Sambar powder is a spice mix used throughout India, particularly the southern states as a flavour enhancing ingredient while preparing sambar.
This special mix of spice is used in a tiny quantity at the end of cooking to add a subtle taste to the cooked lentils. It is utilised to create the sambar very peppery.
Ingredients:
Red Gram Dal, Salt, Tamarind Concentrate, Coriander, Sugar, Rice, Edible Vegetable Oil, Red Chilli, Cumin, Curry Leaves, Mustard, Fenugreek, Turmeric, Cinnamon, Asafoetida.

How to Use:
- Boil six measures of water.
- Add one measure of MTR Sambar mix to the water and 500g pre-boiled vegetables of your choice (Onions, tomatoes etc).
- Cook for 10-12 minutes.
- Serve hot with rice.
