Kerala Matta rice (also known as Rosematta rice, Palakkadan Matta rice, Kerala Red rice, or Red parboiled rice) is an indigenous variety of rice grown in Palakkad District of Kerala.
 
 How to Use: 
  • Once opened store in an airtight container.
  • Boil 20 cups (4 litres) of water with 1 cup (200g) of washed matta rice.
  • Cook on medium flame until it is well cooked,add salt to taste and serve hot.
